Air express direct flight center opens in SND

The Suzhou Air Express Direct Flight Center at Shishan Road in Suzhou New District (SND) officially opened to the public recently. It takes only 12 minutes to get to Wuxi Shuofang Airport by air taxi.

The newly-opened direct flight center is located in SND International Commerce Tower which has been the first of its kind in Jiangsu Province to provide commercial helicopter services and will become a pivotal air express hub in the future.

Currently, the center has launched air taxi routes to Wuxi Shuofang Airport and Suzhou North Railway Station, cutting the travel time to 12 and 7 minutes, respectively. While enjoying the speed and convenience of helicopter flights, passengers can have a bird's-eye view of the city. The center has planned more than 10 routes for its air express service to destinations such as Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport, Shanghai's Sinar Mas Plaza and the Changdang Lake, with the shortest travel time being less than 6 minutes.

At the opening ceremony, the list of the first 3 accredited companies for helicopter service at the direct flight center was announced.
