Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev at European Council meeting: Republic of North Macedonia shall meet its commitments

The Republic of North Macedonia shall meet the commitments made in order to move towards the European Union. This was stated by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev at the European Council meeting. The Prime Minister brought the matter to the attention of his European counterparts in Brussels in connection with developments in the Republic of North Macedonia in recent weeks.

Mr. Glavchev drew attention to the serious challenges facing the European perspective of the candidate country for EU membership. The Heads of State and Government reemphasized the importance of good neighborly relations, the need for the candidate countries for EU membership to meet strictly the commitments as made to the EU and to effect the required reforms.
