On this year's ballot there were three City Council positions and nine propositions (all related to our City Charter). All nine propositions passed. Read the final election results below.
City Council Positions

Proposition A - Shall the Charter be amended so that the City Council determines the bond amount for the City Secretary? PASSED
Proposition B - Shall the Charter be amended so that the City Council determines the bond amount for the members of the City Council? PASSED
Proposition C - Shall the Charter be amended to remove references to old dates that were included to define staggering election cycles? PASSED
Proposition D - Shall the Charter be amended to add a reference to Harris County regarding city plats and records? PASSED
Proposition E - Shall the Charter be amended to allow the Council to fill a Council vacancy if the remaining term on the vacant seat has 12 months or less? PASSED
Proposition F - Shall the Charter be amended to remove the requirement to post legal notices in the newspaper? PASSED
Proposition G - Shall the Charter be amended to give Council the option to authorize limited discharge of fireworks? PASSED
Proposition H - Shall the Charter be amended to allow up to 5 propositions per General Election? PASSED
Proposition I - Shall the Charter be amended to require tax increase language for any general obligation bond? PASSED
