State Police in Auburn investigate a one-car fatal in Montezuma.

On August 26, 2024, at approximately 10:05 p.m., troopers from SP Auburn responded to a personal injury accident on Fuller Road in the town of Montezuma. A preliminary investigation revealed a 2014 Honda Civic, operated by Alicia R. Farr, age 50, of Savannah, NY, was traveling north on Fuller Road when the vehicle exited the roadway on the east shoulder and struck a large tree, demolishing the vehicle. Farr was extricated from the vehicle and airlifted to Upstate Medical University Hospital with severe life-threatening injuries. Farr was pronounced deceased at the hospital. This is an ongoing investigation.
