FTI Consulting’s Claudio Calvino Named International Fellow of Digital Ethics Center at Yale University

London, 24 July 2024 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that Claudio Calvino, a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Data Science, has been named as one of the first international fellows of the Digital Ethics Center at Yale University.

The Digital Ethics Center, founded and directed by Professor Luciano Floridi, is a multidisciplinary hub that draws from a range of disciplines to research the governance, ethical, legal and social implications of digital innovation and technologies, with a focus on its impact on human life, society and the environment. The Center aims to identify and amplify the benefits of digital innovation and technologies while mitigating their risks and shortcomings to create a better information society. It is part of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yale University.

Dr. Calvino has more than 15 years of experience in data science and advanced business analytics. In his role at FTI Consulting, he applies advanced data analytics techniques to a range of complex client matters, including global investigations, supply chain optimisation, real time anomaly detection, unsupervised fraud detection, best location analysis, on-the-fly segmentation and micromarketing.

Dr. Calvino has a B.Sc. in Political Science, an M.Sc. in International Relations and a Ph.D. in Economic Geography. He also sits on the advisory boards of start-ups in the field of artificial intelligence.
