Helping you find and use the City's 'Philly Phlush' public restrooms

The City's "Philly Phlush" public restrooms have a standard layout. There are a few exceptions that depend on whether the restroom is next to a wall or can be approached from all sides.

The descriptions and accessibility notes below are intended to assist individuals with mobility devices and/or limited vision. If you need further assistance, you can also call 311 in Philadelphia or (215) 686-8686 if you are outside Philadelphia.

Remember: You will know you are at the front of the restroom because the door is curved.

Center City Public Restroom	1401 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19102	The restroom is located on the corner of 15th and Arch streets on the side of the building closest to Love Park.	If you are using a mobility device, you will know you are at the unit when you hit the side wall on the left and the metal unit or door stopper on the right.
North Philadelphia Public Restroom	Fotterall Square 2400 N. 11th St. Philadelphia, PA 19133	The restroom is located off West Cumberland Street near the mini pitch and basketball court.	After you walk up the ramp entrance on North 11th Street, follow the path and take your second right. After a few steps, your mobility device will reach the door on your right.

Facing the inside of the restroom from the door, you will see:

All locations:	Layout
Two hanging hooks	One hook is located on the back of the door inside the unit. A second hook is on the left wall, to the left of the changing table.
Naloxone box	On the right wall, in the middle of the unit.
Baby changing table	On the left wall, near the front of the unit.
Menstrual product dispenser	On the left wall, near the back of the unit.
Trash can	On the back wall of the unit, on the left side. It is to the left of the hand sanitizer.
Hand sanitizer pump	On the back wall of the unit, on the left side. It is to the right of the trash can.
Toilet seat cover dispenser	On the right wall, underneath the horizontal grab bar.
Toilet	On the back wall, on the right side of the unit.
Grab bars	One bar is located behind the toilet. If you are on the toilet, there is one vertical bar and one horizontal bar to your left.
Toilet paper	When using the toilet, you will reach to your left.

Notes for the Center City location
Door to enter and exit	The door faces Arch Street. The door swings open to the left.
Sharps disposal container	Inside, on the right wall towards the back. It is above the toilet seat covers dispenser.
Naloxone box	Outside, on the back wall of the unit.
Hand washing station	Outside, on the left wall of the unit near the back. There is an opening to wash your hands. The soap is immediately beneath the opening, on the left. The button to turn on the water is also beneath the opening, on the right. The hand dryer is on top of the opening.

Notes for the North Philadelphia location:
Door to enter and exit	The door faces West York Street. The door swings open to the right.
Sharps disposal container	The opening for sharps disposal in on the back wall of the unit, above the toilet.
Naloxone box	Outside, on the left wall of the unit. It is to the right of the handwashing station.
Hand washing station	Outside, on the left wall of the unit near the back. There is an opening to wash your hands. The soap is immediately beneath the opening, on the left. The button to turn on the water is also beneath the opening, on the right. The hand dryer is on top of the opening.
