The project will improve healthcare in the Middle Tennessee region.

Turner Construction Company celebrated the topping out of the $76.4 million Midtown Medical Office Building and $25.4 million Tennessee Oncology Tenant Improvements in Nashville, Tennessee. The final steel beam was signed by the workers and clients during the topping out celebration.

The five-story, state-of-the-art cancer care center will provide patients with high-level clinical medicine by combining imaging, medical, and radiation cancer care specialists under one roof.

The project includes technology investments focusing on cancer prevention, detection, and treatment. Patients will have access to enhanced services such as nutritionists, social workers, and navigators to provide coordinated clinical and concierge services. This will be part of a holistic and cost-effective approach to care.

"Delivering cancer care in a physician-owned and independent practice close to where people live and work is an important part of cancer care delivery in Tennessee and throughout the country, so we appreciate Turner's partnership to construct a state-of-the-art cancer care facility for our patients throughout Tennessee," said Natalie Dickson MD, President and CEO, Tennessee Oncology. "Our dedicated team of physicians, caregivers, and staff look forward to our center's grand opening and continuing to deliver the highest quality of care, conducting novel clinical trials, and reforming how we deliver cancer care to enhance the experience for our patients. Caring for patients is indeed a privilege, and we are honored to have the team at Turner join us for this important work."

"We are thrilled to reach such a pivotal milestone on this project," said Paul Lawson, Vice President and General Manager, Turner Construction Company. "This state-of-the-art cancer care center will change so many lives for the better in the fight against cancer. We are incredibly proud of our team's efforts and look forward to completing the project so Tennessee Oncology can keep delivering high-quality cancer care and clinical research for the people of Tennessee."

The 310,097-square-foot core-and-shell building will be completed in Spring 2025, followed by 83,964 square feet of tenant improvements in Summer 2025.
