Learn More About Indianola Downtown Main Street: Thursday, August 15

Coming off the excitement from last week's official announcement, the Indianola Downtown Main Street Board, in partnership with the City of Indianola, Indianola Chamber of Commerce and Warren County Economic Development Corporation, invites you to learn more about Indianola's Main Street Iowa community designation during a press conference, ribbon cutting and celebratory event on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

The press conference will be held on the front steps of the Warren County Justice Center, located at 115 N Howard Street in Indianola, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the press conference will move indoors at the Warren County Justice Center.

Below is a timeline for Thursday's festivities as well as additional details:

• 2:30PM: Main Street Press Conference
  Special Guest Speaker Michael Wagler, Main Street Iowa State Coordinator
• 2:45PM: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
• 4:30-6:30PM: Main Street Celebration - West Hill Brewing Company (219 W Salem Avenue in Indianola)
  Appetizers will be provided, and a cash bar will be available
