Oklahoma State University Foundation Board of Governors elects three new trustees

The Oklahoma State University Foundation Board of Governors has elected three new trustees: Craig Boelte of Edmond, Oklahoma; Melinda Stinnett of Tulsa; and Carl Wiese of Edmond, Oklahoma. Their diverse professional knowledge and experience make them welcome additions to the Foundation's governing body.

"We are excited to welcome Craig, Melinda and Carl as OSU Foundation Trustees," OSU Foundation President Blaire Atkinson said. "Their valuable professional expertise will significantly contribute to advancing the missions of both OSU and the OSU Foundation. We are deeply grateful for their dedication and commitment to supporting OSU."

Craig Boelte

Craig Boelte

Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer
Paycom Software Inc.

Boelte has served as the chief financial officer of Paycom Software Inc. since February 2006 and as treasurer since May 2017. He also held the role of secretary from May 2017 to February 2024.

Before joining Paycom, Boelte operated his own accounting practice, serving over 600 clients. Before opening his practice, Boelte spent nine years at Deloitte & Touche, serving as senior tax manager. Boelte has over 36 years of experience in the workforce management and HR industry. He is a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of CPAs.

Boelte earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from OSU in 1985 and his Master of Science in accounting from OSU the following year.

Melinda Stinnett

Stinnett & Associates, retired

Melinda Stinnett

Stinnett founded Stinnett & Associates in 2001. As CEO and managing director, she led the firm to grow to over 120 team members and contractors, expanding their services to include cybersecurity, supply chain management, data analytics and ESG.

In July 2022, Stinnett & Associates was acquired by CBIZ, a public company specializing in accounting, tax and advisory services. She served as senior managing director, co-leading the Risk Advisory Services practice until her retirement in March 2024.

Stinnett is actively involved in her community as a Tulsa Community College Foundation board member and the Tulsa Regional Chamber Board of Advisors treasurer. She also serves on the Board of Governors for the OSU Foundation, the OSU School of Accounting Advisory Board and Executive Committee, and the OSU Eastin Career Center Readiness Board.

In the fall of 2022, she received the OSU Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award. She was named the Oklahoma Society of CPAs' 2021 Outstanding Member in Business & Industry and was inducted into OSU's Spears School of Business Hall of Fame in 2021. Additionally, she was honored with the OSU Spears School of Business 100 for 100 in 2015, recognized as an OSU as an OSU School of Accounting Distinguished Alumni and honored with the OSU Spears School of Business Orange Star Award in 2011.

Stinnett earned her Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Spears School of Business in 1989.

Carl Wiese

HP/Poly, retired

Carl Wiese

Wiese's most recent role before retiring was executive vice president and global head of sales for HP/Poly. In this role, he oversaw the company's global sales function as the chief sales strategist.

Wiese provides 35 years of experience in sales, marketing, services and product management for enterprise technology companies. Previously, Wiese served in executive positions, including president of Global Sales and Service for Blackberry and senior vice president of Advanced Technologies sales for Cisco. Earlier in his career, Wiese held key leadership positions at Apple, Avaya, Lucent Technologies Inc. and Texas Instruments.

He is the co-author of "The Collaboration Imperative: Exclusive Strategies for Unlocking Your Organization's True Potential."

Wiese serves on the Board of Governors for the OSU Foundation, the Deans Council as well as the Board for the Center for Sales and Service Excellence for the Spears School of Business. Wiese is a member of the Investment Committee for the OSU Foundation. He will be inducted into the Spears School of Business Hall of Fame in October 2024.

Wiese earned his Bachelor of Science in business from the Spears School of Business in 1983.
