Army SPC Christine L. Mays Bridge on Richmond Road Closure Delayed until mid/late July

Indiana, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a delay for the resurfacing project for the Army SPC Christine L. Mays Bridge on Route 1041 (Richmond Road) near Rochester Mills in Grant Township, Indiana County.

The bridge was scheduled to be closed for three days for deck repairs and resurfacing from June 28 through July 1, 2024. With impending weather, the closure will be delayed to mid/late July. Once dates are finalized with the contractor, updated dates will be released.

The $493,561 project is estimated to be completed in September 2024 by contractor, RAM Construction Services of Michigan, Livonia, MI.
