Escambia County Offices to Close for Thanksgiving Nov. 28, 29

In observance of Thanksgiving, the following Escambia County offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29:

• Escambia County Board of County Commissioners (all departments)
• West Florida Public Libraries (all locations)
• Escambia County Property Appraiser
• Escambia County Tax Collector
• Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare
• Escambia County Extension Office
• Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller
• Waste Services Administration
• Escambia County Area Transit Administration

Please note:

• The Perdido Landfill will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28. The landfill will reopen with regular hours Friday, Nov. 29.
• ECAT buses will not run Thursday, Nov. 28. Regular service will resume Friday, Nov. 29. ECAT Customer service will also reopen Nov. 29.
• UWF trolley service will not run Nov. 27-29. Express trolley service will resume Saturday, Nov. 30, and regular trolley service will resume Monday, Dec. 2.
