LPD Traffic Safety Enforcement Project Begins October 10

The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) today announced it will conduct a traffic safety enforcement project from October 10 through 23. Officers who have advanced training in traffic enforcement will be working throughout Lincoln to monitor areas with high instances of reported and observed traffic offenses.

The project is a result of a grant from the Nebraska Department of Transportation-Highway Safety Office to allow officers to work overtime.
