Palmdale Launches 'My Palmdale' Citizen Requests Mobile App

PALMDALE, CA - The City of Palmdale is excited to announce the launch of "My Palmdale," a mobile application designed to streamline the reporting and resolution of municipal code violations and quality-of-life concerns for residents. The rollout of the new tool demonstrates Palmdale's commitment to using technology to enhance community engagement and municipal services.

"My Palmdale" provides residents a convenient, 24/7 platform to submit requests and access information. Users can take photos of issues and submit them through the app, initiating a service request that is immediately routed to the City's Public Safety department. Beyond offering residents a user-friendly solution to address their concerns, the software simplifies the service request process, facilitates better communication, efficiently tracks issues and allows City staff to respond quickly.

"The "My Palmdale" app allows residents to easily report issues such as graffiti, tall grass, illegal dumping, parking violations and more," said Mayor Austin Bishop. "I encourage everyone to download it, as it will enhance our City's ability to maintain a safe, well-kept environment by providing a direct line of communication between residents and City services."

A standout feature of "My Palmdale" is the ability to keep residents informed throughout the resolution process. Users can check the status of their requests at any time and receive push notifications and alerts to stay updated as their requests are addressed.

"In maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our City, this innovative app empowers our residents to actively participate in improving our community," said Mayor Pro Tem Richard Loa. "It shows our commitment to leveraging technology for better governance and citizen engagement."

To start using "My Palmdale," residents are encouraged to download it from the App Store or Google Play Store.
