July 15, 2024 - On Friday, June 28, 2024, the City of St. Petersburg's Office of Supplier Diversity hosted the inaugural "Contacts & Contracts Bus Tour", which invited more than 20 small, minority-owned, and women-owned local businesses to help grow and foster their businesses through this unique networking opportunity.

During the Bus Tour, the businesses met with local agencies to learn about resources and contract opportunities available in the St. Pete area. The tour visited with The Greenhouse, St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, Pinellas County Economic Development, Creative Contractors, St. Anthony's Hospital, Wannemacher Jensen Architects, and Create Building Company.

The Bus Tour also highlighted the Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program and the new Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) Program, both of which foster growth in the economy and provide opportunities for small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses.
