The minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, held Friday, in Warsaw, a working session with his Polish counterpart, Radoslaw Sikorski, as part of the official visit to the Republic of Poland, tasked by the president of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The meeting's agenda, was about the ways and means of revitalising the historic relations between Algeria and Poland, against the backdrop of the economic development in our country, providing cooperation and partnership opportunities.
The two officials agreed to schedule the first session of the Algeria-Poland inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation, strengthen the legal framework for bilateral cooperation and set up a joint work team which will establish cooperation and partnership formulas in energy, mainly renewable energy.
The two ministers also tackled the political and security developments in their neighbouring countries and in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as the new developments of partnership between Algeria and the European Union.
