Ambassador of Belarus to Kenya, Belarus' Permanent Representative to the African Union P.Vziatkin meets the Chairperson of the African Union Commission

On December 6, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kenya, Belarus' Permanent Representative to the African Union, Pavel Vziatkin, met with the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat at the headquarters of the Organization in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

P.Vziatkin told about country's commitment to the consistent development of relations with the countries of the African continent on the principles of mutual respect and trust and to building mutually beneficial economic cooperation.

Regarding promising areas of cooperation between Belarus and African countries, the Chairperson of the AU Commission highly appreciated the potential for cooperation in agriculture, taking into account the quality of equipment and competencies of Belarus in agriculture.

The parties agreed to work together with the specialized departments of the Commission to structure interaction and develop a plan and priorities for further cooperation.
