Rate Increase Effective July 1

Rate increases are never easy to communicate and are not a decision your Central Lincoln Board of Directors makes lightly. However, with equipment costs heavily impacted by inflation, and the need for increased wildfire mitigation continuing to rise, the Board voted to increase electric service rates by 3% and street and yard lighting rates by 5%, effective July 1.

The residential energy charge will go from 8.06¢ per kilowatt hour (kWh) to 8.28¢ per kWh. The Service Availability Charge will go from $27 to $28 monthly. This charge assists with the cost of providing and maintaining infrastructure (substations, transformers, poles, lines, etc.) to every customer location throughout our service territory.

Central Lincoln is focused on delivering reliable energy as affordably as possible. Our rates remain among the lowest in Oregon and well below the national average. Please visit the rate schedules section of our website for more information.
