State Police arrest East Nassau man following Nassau Burglary

On July 29, 2024, State Police of Schodack arrested Sean P. Mcmanus, 27, of East Nassau, NY, for Burglary in the second degree, Grand Larceny in the fourth degree, Criminal Mischief in the third degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree.

On June 10, 2024, at about 1:30 p.m., Troopers responded to a home in Nassau, NY, for the report of a past burglary. The investigation determined earlier that month, Mcmanus allegedly forcibly entered the vacant home, causing damage, and stole multiple items from within the home valued at over $1,500.

On July 29, 2024, Mcmanus was taken into custody in New Lebanon, NY, and transported to SP Schodack for processing. While being taken into custody, he was found to possess a controlled substance. Mcmanus was arraigned at the Schodack Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
