On July 24, 2024, the New York State Police in Dundee arrested Ronald R. Chilson, age 46, of Dundee, NY, for Criminal Sex Act 1st (B Felony), Criminal Sex Act 2nd (D Felony), Course of Sexual Conduct 2nd (D Felony), and two counts of Sex Abuse 1st (D Felony).

This arrest is subsequent to a criminal investigation stemming from a Yates County Child Protective Service report on February 12, 2024. Chilson was transported to the Yates County Jail for arraignment.
