Detectives Pursuing Leads in Monday Night Murder at Rural Hill Road Apartment Complex

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a potential drug motive in Monday night's fatal shooting of Jacori D. Wynn, 28, in a breezeway of Novo Hickory Highlands Apartments on Rural Hill Road.

South Precinct officers responded to the shooting call at 8 p.m. and saw that Wynn had been hit multiple times. They provided emergency care to Wynn who died shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Wynn was inside an apartment in the 300 building prior to the shooting.
