DALLAS - The City of Dallas is thrilled to kick off Youth Civic Awareness Week from August 26 to September 1, 2024. This initiative aims to boost local teens' engagement with the Dallas Youth Commission and their role in shaping the city's future.

The Dallas Youth Commission (YC) connects young people with municipal government, offering a platform to voice opinions, influence policy, and participate in civic activities. Composed of enthusiastic teens, the YC is eager to motivate their peers to become active citizens.

During Youth Civic Awareness Week, Youth Commissioners will engage with teens at Dallas football games, distributing information and highlighting the importance of civic involvement.

    8233 Military Pkwy.
    Dallas, TX 75227

  • Franklin Stadium
    7017 Lakehurst Ave.
