NASA awards research funding and internships to Boise State students

Nine Boise State students were awarded funding from the NASA-Idaho Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) for 2024. These include eight internships and one graduate fellowship. All of the internships took place over the summer, with one continuing through the fall; while the fall graduate fellowshipis a one-year project.

Summer and Fall 2024 interns will receive stipends and will work in their ongoing areas of research. These are focused on science, technology, engineering, math or space/aerospace projects in Idaho during 2024. Fall 2024 graduate fellows will work with their mentors in their selected area of research.

Boise State is an affiliate of the Idaho Space Grant Consortium, a federally funded grant program that provides and supports opportunities for the general public, K-12 students, educators, undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and industry in areas related to NASA's initiatives. The ISGC was established in 1991 and is one of 52 Space Grant Consortia established by NASA under the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program.
