SCDOT to hold a drop-in public involvement meeting in Anderson County

​Columbia, S.C.(September 4, 2024) - SCDOT will hold a drop-in public information meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2024 regarding an intersection improvement project in Anderson County.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024. The meeting will take place at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 8008 Liberty Highway, Liberty, SC 29657. SCDOT representatives will be available at the meeting to discuss the proposed project with members of the community. There will be no formal presentation.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation proposes to improve the intersection at US 178 (Liberty Highway) at S-73 (Baugh Road) and S-27 (Ruhmah Road) in Anderson County. The proposed improvements include creating a roundabout at the current intersection. Visit the project website for additional information.
