City suspends residential garbage collection on Monday

PALATKA - In response to Hurricane Debby, the City of Palatka Sanitation/Public Works Department will suspend residential garbage pickup on August 5, 2024.

Normal Monday collection will be on Tuesday August 6, 2024 and normal Tuesday collection will be on Wednesday August 7, 2024.

There will be no yard debris collection this week.

Following the storm, residents are asked to pile up yard debris in piles next to the curb. Piles should be clear of any obstructions (such as overhead lines, poles, mailboxes, etc.)

There will be no change in commercial collection.
