SAE International® Warns Against Fraudulent Websites Claiming to Sell SAE Standards
Violations of SAE's IP Policy Will Continue to be Resolved by Legal Team
WARRENDALE, Pa. (Aug. 5, 2024) - SAE International® is issuing a warning to all stakeholders after uncovering fraudulent web sellers purporting to be representatives of SAE.
These sites claim to have SAE Standards and other products available for purchase at discount prices. This is in direct violation of SAE copyright and should not be viewed as a trusted source of information. Use of these sites could result in loss of funds, risk of health and safety, and potentially put your personal information at risk.
Sites participating in this fraudulent activity are subject to legal action. To keep yourself and your information safe, SAE advises all customers to purchase standards only from sae.org, SAE Mobilus, or authorized resellers. A list of authorized resellers is online at https://www.sae.org/about/contact/resellers.
