PLEXUS RAISES OVER £20,000 FOR UK CHARITIES

Livingston, Scotland 17th March, 2016 - Plexus Corp. (NASDAQ: PLXS) raised in excess of £20,000 during the past year for UK based charities Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), Connor's Journey and Ward 15, through employee donations. Plexus is a global leader in providing electronics design, manufacturing and aftermarket services to companies with mid-to-low volume, higher complexity products and has facilities in Livingston and Kelso.

The charities were selected based on nominations from individual employees and were supported throughout 2015 with a wide variety of fundraising events. All of the money raised during the year was matched pound-by-pound by Plexus.

The design, manufacturing and corporate teams based in Livingston elected to support Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and raised £7,489.62. This will be used to conduct cardiac screening and provide support and information to young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions.

An additional £13,500 was raised by Plexus' manufacturing team in Kelso, which was split equally between Ward 15 and Connor's Journey. Connor's Journey is dedicated to Connor Hughes, a young man who suffered a life changing accident that left him paralysed from the shoulders down. The £6,750 raised by Plexus will be used to aid his rehabilitation and will also help with equipment costs. "It's been an incredible effort by everyone concerned," said Fiona Hughes, Connor's mother, "and reflects great credit on Plexus and the Kelso staff members. Connor greatly appreciates the commitment and hard work it must have taken to raise such a fantastic sum, and as a family we continue to be extremely grateful for the kindness and support we've received from all sections of the local community."

The Kelso team's commendable fundraising efforts also meant that £6,750 was donated to Ward 15, the children's ward at Borders General Hospital. They will use the funds for the planned new children's ward and day unit as well as helping with additional improvements that will provide home comforts for both the patients and their families.

Representatives from Connor's Journey (Fiona, Rachel and Ilona Hughes) and Ward 15 (Danielle Matthewson and Karen Nairn) visited the Kelso site to receive their cheques for £6,750.
