PLEXUS PENANG DONATES PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Penang, Malaysia - May 7, 2020 - Plexus (NASDAQ: PLXS) announced today that its Penang-based team has donated personal protective equipment (PPE) to support medical workers who are on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19. The items were donated to the Pulau Pinang and Sebarang Jaya hospitals and included: 15,000 N95 face masks, 2,500 isolation gowns, 6,000 shoe covers, 2,800 boot covers, 300 face shields, 300 nurse caps, 3,000 plastic aprons and 1,370 boxes of nitrile gloves.

As Malaysia enters the fourth phase of the Movement Control Order, there is a continued need for PPE. Plexus Penang is committed to supporting the fight against COVID-19. In addition to this donation, the company has also pledged to support the local police and government agencies with hand sanitizer and PPE. To date, Plexus Penang has provided 2,380 bottles of hand sanitizer and 7,200 face masks to non-medical first responders.

Plexus' APAC President, Dato' YJ Lim, commented, "Plexus is doing its part in supporting the local government and its employees, especially those who are directly on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19. This fight against the pandemic is a global one and we are passionate about supporting our healthcare workers and government agencies in their efforts to keep our communities safe. In addition, the well-being of Plexus' employees remains a top priority for the company. Plexus has invested millions of ringgit to support the safety of its employees. Facility upgrades, social distancing measures, enhanced cleaning and sanitization procedures and Plexus provided PPE to all employees are just some of the ways Plexus continues to provide a safe working environment.
