Get ready for the Technology & Engineering Career and Internship Fair happening on campus, Thursday, Nov. 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room!

What's happening?

Dozens of employers will be tabling to answer questions about their companies, roles they are hiring for and the application process. Additionally, PACCAR will have a truck stationed outside the Viking Union, with representatives ready to discuss careers at PACCAR!

Who should attend?

Everyone! Career Fairs are free opportunities for students, alumni, staff/faculty and campus visitors to meet dozens of local and regional employers who are actively recruiting for internships and jobs across majors and academic levels.

What can I do now to prepare?

To ensure you're "Career Fair Ready," follow these three steps:

1. Review the list of participating employers in Handshake on the Preview Page for the Technology & Engineering Career Fair. You may need to activate your free student account on Handshake at wwu.joinhandshake.com.

2. Prepare your resume, either for uploading onto your Handshake profile or to hand out to employers during the event. Ensure your resume will earn you an interview by attending a resume workshop, schedule a resume review or use templates found at https://careercenter.wwu.edu/resumes.

3. Schedule a visit to the WWU Career Closet to pick up free, professional attire to wear and consider having a free LinkedIn photo taken at the career fair from 11AM-1PM.

Unsure about career fairs? You're not alone - but the Career Services Center and employers (some which are WWU Alumni!) are here to help! Consider signing up for a career fair orientation or preparation workshop, view the events calendar at https://careercenter.wwu.edu/events.
