NYSP responds to fatal crash in Delaware County

On October 1, 2024, at approximately 6:45 a.m., New York State Police at Oneonta and the Stamford Fire Department responded to a fatal crash on County Highway 29 in the town of Harpersfield.

The operator of the vehicle was traveling westbound when for an unknown reason left the roadway and struck a tree head on. The vehicle then became engulfed in flames.

The operator and only occupant did not survive. He is identified as Cameron M. Gaffi, age 25 of Franklin, NJ.
