34 year old man dies following single vehicle collision involving pedestrian

A 34-year-old man from Richibucto-Village, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle collision with a pedestrian in Richibucto-Village, N.B.

On December 2, 2024, at approximately 6:14 p.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Bells Mills Road, in Richibucto-Village.

The collision is believed to have occurred when the vehicle, travelling Eastbound on Bells Mills Road, struck a pedestrian travelling in the same direction. The victim, a 34-year-old man, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver of the vehicle sustained no injuries.

Members of Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene.

An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office are assisting with the investigation.
