In a stunning conclusion to the Playfly College Esports Fall 2024 Grand Finals, Seton Hall Rocket League emerged victorious, defeating Robert Morris University (RMU) in an electrifying best-of-seven series. The Pirates' 4-3 victory marks a historic moment, as Seton Hall becomes the first-ever Playfly College Esports Rocket League National Champions.
Broadcast live on Twitch to an audience of over 900 viewers, the series captivated fans across the nation. Facing RMU, the team that pioneered collegiate esports in 2014, Seton Hall's path to glory was anything but easy. Each match was fiercely contested, with both teams trading wins and going into overtime twice.
