Investment Consulting and Performance Measurement Services

On April 8, 2024, the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) requested proposals from investment consulting firms to provide general investment consulting services across all major asset classes, periodic asset liability studies, and performance measurement services to its Board of Trustees and Staff. Responses were due on May 3, 2024.

The Quiet Period for this process is the period of time beginning when the RFP is issued and ends when the investment consultant is selected by the IMRF Board of Trustees, or the process is declared to be complete. The Quiet Period for this search ended on August 30, 2024.

After evaluating the responding firms on people, process, philosophy, price, and fit with IMRF, the IMRF Board of Trustees appointed Callan LLC as its investment consultant, subject to satisfactory contract negotiations and legal due diligence.
