Knowsley Council is supporting ASB Awareness Week 2024, which takes place between 18 and 24 November.
We work closely with our community safety partners in Knowsley to help ensure our borough continues to be a safe place to live for all our residents and we continue to share the 'No More' message that anti-social behaviour (ASB) will not be tolerated in Knowsley.
Action taken against anti-social behaviour
Action will be taken against anyone who carries out ASB and criminal behaviour in Knowsley.
Persistent ASB offences can lead to criminal convictions and even put people's home at risk if they're found to be in breach of their tenancy agreement.
As well as restrictions on where you can go and who you are allowed to socialise with, persistent anti-social behaviour can also lead to:
The Council or your housing association could also ask a Court to evict you for persistent offences.
Cllr Shelley Powell, Cabinet Member for Communities and Neighbourhoods, said: "The theme of this year's ASB Awareness Week is 'Making Communities Safer' and that is exactly what our community safety partners work closely to ensure by tackling ASB in our borough. ASB doesn't just damage your own future prospects, it can have a detrimental impact on your home and family, not to mention the negative impact it has on the wider community. We continue to share our 'No More' message that ASB will not be tolerated in our borough."
Community engagement
Knowsley's Crime and Communities team will be carrying out community walkabouts across the borough every day during ASB Awareness Week 2024. You can speak to them about community safety issues you are experiencing in your area, or email them at [email protected]
CCTV

The Council Control room has direct access to Merseyside Police's Command and Control Room, which means the police can be immediately notified of any incidents of crime and anti-social behaviour occurring and police patrols can be deployed accordingly.
