DALLAS - Miguel Cervantes, best known for his role as Alexander Hamilton in the musical "Hamilton", will teach a Master Class at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts at 10:30 a.m., tomorrow, Dec. 3. A Dallas native and Booker T. graduate, Cervantes holds the distinction of playing the iconic role more than anyone in the world. Two students will join Cervantes onstage inside the Montgomery Theater for an exclusive performance.

Discover school choice at Dallas ISD's virtual webinars
Families who missed Dallas ISD's Discover event can join the virtual Discover webinar on Saturday, Dec. 7. This online opportunity allows families to explore the district's choice programs and learn about the application process. Webinars begin at 9 a.m. for pre-K and elementary schools, and at 10:30 a.m. for secondary schools. Dallas ISD representatives will be available to answer questions about programs, transfers, special services, and more.

Golden Bears face familiar foes in State quarterfinals
The South Oak Cliff Golden Bears are gearing up for an exciting rematch in the 5A Division II State Quarterfinals against Port Neches-Groves High School. The game kicks off at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, at Homer Bryce Stadium at Stephen F. Austin University.
