August 2024 Antidumping and Countervailing Duties (AD/CVD) Updates

In August 2024, the U.S. International Trade Administration (ITA) announced several antidumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) determinations as well as investigation initiations. Details on these cases, including affected HTS numbers, can be found in the official notices linked below.

A preliminary determination for antidumping duty was published for:

• Antidumping duty investigations of certain glass wine bottles from Chile, the People's Republic of China (China), and Mexico.
• Antidumping duty investigations of paper plates from the People's Republic of China (China), Thailand, and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam).

A final determination for countervailing duty was published for:

• Countervailing duty investigation of certain glass wine bottles from the People's Republic of China.

The following antidumping and countervailing investigations have been initiated:

• Antidumping and countervailing duty investigations of certain tungsten shot from the People's Republic of China (China).
