Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to fire on Talbot Avenue

Winnipeg, MB- At 12:03 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a three-storey apartment building in the 200 block of Talbot Avenue.

When crews arrived on scene, they entered the building and found smoke inside. They located the fire and launched an offensive fire attack, quickly putting the fire out. It was declared under control at 12:31 p.m.

Firefighters temporarily evacuated residents from the building as a precaution. There were no injuries reported.

Damage estimates are not available at this time. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
