U.S. Department of State Selects Meridian International Center to Recruit Cultural Performers and Expert Speakers for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka

The U.S. Department of State is pleased to announce the selection of Meridian International Center to recruit cultural performers and expert speakers for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. The USA Pavilion will showcase U.S. culture and values through cultural performances, speaking engagements, and other events over the course of the six-month Expo. International Expositions, also known in the United States as World's Fairs or Expos, are extraordinary opportunities to highlight American innovation, enterprise, culture, and global leadership.

Meridian International Center's mission is to strengthen engagement between the United States and the rest of the world to find solutions to shared global challenges. Meridian is a nonpartisan, nonprofit diplomacy center that highlights global leadership, culture, diplomatic engagement, and corporate diplomacy. The organization has a 60-year track record of working with the U.S. Department of State and U.S. embassies to design, implement, and steward cultural and training programs to advance U.S. foreign policy objectives and strengthen global relationships.

The USA Pavilion theme, "Imagine What We Can Create Together," encourages visitors to envision themselves studying or training in the United States, exploring the United States' rich and diverse geography, discovering its cutting-edge innovation, and joining the journey back to the moon and beyond. Expo 2025 Osaka will open on April 13, 2025, and is expected to welcome approximately 28 million visitors over the course of its six-month duration. The USA Pavilion is delighted to partner with Meridian to showcase American culture and diversity while also cultivating global partnerships and cross-cultural understanding.
