UNIOR d.d. invites applications for the position of: PROGRAMME DIRECTOR (M/F) – Hand Tools Programme

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • organising, independently managing, and supervising the work of the Hand Tools programme,
  • representing the programme and managing its operations in accordance with the legislation and the decisions of the management board,
  • regularly monitoring the market conditions and maintaining ongoing communication with suppliers,
  • shaping the vision and strategy for the programme in line with the company's vision and the programme's operational policies,
  • developing and implementing strategies for transitioning to a new business model, which includes process digitalisation, the introduction of advanced technologies, and process optimisation,
  • setting, achieving, monitoring, and measuring goals and implementing activities to achieve the operational and financial goals of the programme and the company's strategic objectives,
  • ensuring the development, motivation, and competence of employees, and fostering cooperation among colleagues,
  • monitoring work performance, operational results of the programme, and reporting to the company's management.

We expect the following qualifications and skills from the prospective candidates:

  • level VII (bachelor's) degree in economics, engineering, social sciences, or management,
  • at least five years of experience in a managerial position,
  • ability to follow and adapt to industry changes, knowledge of technological trends, and continuous skill improvement to maintain the company's competitiveness,
  • understanding of processes, with a focus on production, and experience in implementing improvements and optimisations,
  • strong communication and negotiation skills,
  • knowledge of Lean management,
  • proficiency in English.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

  • are capable of strategic thinking and aligned with the company's common goals,
  • have convincing presentation, communication, and negotiation skills,
  • are team-oriented and development-focused, and enjoy daily new challenges,
  • demonstrate a high level of personal and professional integrity.
