Walking the walk on Lake to Lake

On the latest episode of our news show Lake to Lake, we share how we plan for success, then make it happen, with a new park and bridge, as well as an expanded Mini City Hall. Host Michelle DeGrand tees it all up.

• During a State of the City presentation with the Bellevue Downtown Association on May 25, Mayor Lynne Robinson and Deputy Mayor Mo Malakoutian discuss how careful planning and strong services ensure Bellevue is "set for success." Bellevue TV capture essential moments from that event, as well as videos with each city councilmember illustrating the six new strategic target areas that support the Council Vision.
• Responding to a growing demand for services, Mini City Hall moved into larger quarters at Crossroads Bellevue mall this spring. Lake to Lake features highlights from the grand reopening of the popular facility, which draw more than 200 community members.
• Michelle, the show host, introduces the latest addition to Bellevue's long list of parks, Bridle Trails Valley Creek Park, with footage of all the amenities and a ribbon-cutting.
• Speaking of ribbon-cuttings, the reopening of Lakemont Boulevard on June 10, following construction of a new bridge over Coal Creek, also is covered on Lake to Lake.
• The raising of the Pride flag at City Hall, which celebrates Bellevue's diversity and inclusion during Pride Month, is on this episode as well.
