Transportation & Infrastructure Study (aka Traffic Study) Update

Earlier this year, the Town Council authorized a consultant to conduct a thorough transportation & infrastructure study along State Route 131 (Tiburon Boulevard). The intention of the study is to create a comprehensive "roadmap" for the Town to consider changes to the existing transportation network and infrastructure.

The consultant, Parametrix Inc., began work this summer and presented their first report to the Town Council on November 6. ( Video ) ( Presentation )

Parametrix will host an in-person community workshop with the project team on December 3, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Town Hall. The workshop will have stations on the overall traffic study area, congestion & delays, existing trip characteristics, safety, and Caltrans.
