Spajić meets Olympians: We will give our best

Prime Minister Milojko Spajić is in Paris, where he visited Montenegrin athletes at the Olympic Village today.

During his visit, Spajić noted that, relative to its population, Montenegro's Olympic team is one of the largest at the Paris Olympics. He shared that the athletes told him they would give their best.

The government will support both clubs and federations. Basketball, water polo, football, and handball, as well as all other team and individual sports, will benefit. With new measures and the future Sports Fund, the state will systematically support athletes to ensure that sport, as one of Montenegro's best brands, never again depends on the will of individuals, emphasised Prime Minister Spajić.

He added that the Olympic Games provide an opportunity for diplomatic activities and mentioned that he used his visit to Paris to meet with numerous leaders to discuss topics important for Montenegro's European path.

Posmatrano po broju stanovnika olimpijski tim Crne Gore jedan je od brojnijih na OI u Parizu. Da će dati sve od sebe i da se neće pomjeriti nikome kazali su mi danas naši sportisti u Olimpijskom selu!
