Northern and southern Illinoisans whose homes were damaged July 15-16 by severe storms and flooding can apply for up to $500 in mortgage or rental assistance and unreimbursed losses directly related to the disaster (e.g. insurance deductible, home-related not covered by insurance) from the Illinois REALTORS® Relief Foundation (IRRF), which announced a total of $25,000 available.

Tornadoes and a derecho caused widespread damage in Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Marshall, Tazewell and Will counties, while flooding has plagued residents of Marion, St. Clair and Washington counties. Only one application is permitted per household. Get the application at: https://www.illinoisrealtors.org/about/foundations/irrf/.
