Support Pass the Handle Day Events Starting This Week

The annual #PassTheHandle event kicks off today, July 15 and runs through July 21. The official event day is Sunday, July 21, when watersport lovers are encouraged to 'pass the handle' to a newcomer, getting more people to experience the fun of watersports and teach them how to #WakeResponsibly.

#PassTheHandle Day is backed by the WSIA and the entire water sports industry aiming to grow participation by training people the safe way, while still having fun on the water.

How can you get involved?

• Teach a first timer how to ride, ski, tube or surf and be sure to share your photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #PassTheHandle.
• Create your own #PassTheHandle event.
• Donate to WSIA to help them grant seed money to wake parks and schools to help fuel #PassTheHandle events where first timers can learn for free.
• Share industry resources with customers.
