Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a bridge preservation project continues on Route 642 in West Milton, Union County and Milton Borough, Northumberland County.

On Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 642 eastbound and westbound traffic will be controlled by flaggers to allow for the installation of bridge joint seals. This bridge project is located between Route 15 in West Milton, Union County and Route 642 in Milton Borough, Northumberland County. The contractor, RAM Services of Michigan, continues with preservation work on the bridge that carries Route 642 over the West Branch Susquehanna River between West Milton and Milton.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, obey the flaggers. Minor delays can be expected.

RAM Services of Michigan is the prime contractor for this $4.3 Million bridge preservation project. Work on this project includes patching the deck, waterproofing the barriers, preserving the deck with an epoxy overlay, and paving the bridge approaches.
