The contractor for the Illinois Department of Transportation will close Linden Road at the I-39 bridge overpass for the removal of the old bridge structures. The road will be closed during the daytime starting Monday, Sept. 16th through Wednesday, Sept. 18th. On Thursday, Sept. 19th the closure will be during the daytime and nighttime. The road will be opened by the end of the day on Friday, Sept. 20th. Motorist should plan accordingly. Delays should be expected. The duration of the work and road closure is dependent on the weather.
