Rail Trail Closed at Emerson Park Drive for Bridge Reconstruction

August 30, 2024 - A portion of the Pere-Marquette Rail Trail will be closed beginning Tuesday, September 3 for reconstruction of the bridge over Sturgeon Creek.

The trail will be closed from Emerson Park Drive to just south of the Upper Emerson Park Overlook. The overlook will remain open and accessible from the north throughout the closure. It is imperative that trail users adhere to posted closure signs and remain off the trail in the construction area.

The trail is anticipated to reopen by October 11.
