Bay Roberts RCMP investigates hit and run collision into utility pole in Bay Roberts, seeks public's assistance

Bay Roberts RCMP is investigating a hit and run collision that occurred sometime overnight on Central Street in Bay Roberts.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m. today, Bay Roberts RCMP received the report of the collision that occurred in a residential area. A vehicle collided with a utility pole, causing considerable damage. Debris found at the scene of the collision, including a large portion of a front bumper, suggests that the vehicle involved in the collision was a Dodge Ram truck. See attached images.

The investigation is continuing. Bay Roberts RCMP asks area residents to check for possible surveillance or dash cam footage for sightings of a Dodge Ram truck with damage to the front bumper.
