Drugs & Firearm – Arrests: R24-50769

On October 19, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers from the East District were patrolling near Watt Street and Thames Avenue when they observed two individuals that matched descriptions of an earlier suspicious incident that was broadcast.

They were taken into custody and one of the males had a knife concealed in his waistband and was in possession of 5 grams of crack cocaine (estimated street value of $500). The other male had an airsoft rifle concealed under his clothing.

A 28-year-old male, Blake Peter HUNTINGHAWK, of Winnipeg was charged with:
  • Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon

A 37-year-old maleof Winnipeg is facing the following charges:
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance
  • Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
  • Possession of a Weapon

Both were released on Undertakings as mandated by the Criminal Code.
