On August 8, at 10am, IBGE will release 2022 Population Census: Birth records: Population results

On August 8, at 10am, the IBGE will release the results related to the 2022 Population Census: Birth records: Population results, with information on the existence or not of birth records registered in Civil Registry Offices for Natural Persons for the resident population up to 5 years of age. For the indigenous population up to 5 years of age that declared not having birth records registered in registry offices, the data will indicate the population division either with or without the Administrative Record of Indigenous Birth (RANI) issued by the National Indian Foundation (FUNAI).

The results will be available for Brazil, Major Regions, Federation Units and Municipalities, being also disaggregated by color or race, sex and age. The result can be accessed on the IBGE portal and in platforms like SIDRA, Census Overview and Interactive Geographic Platform (PGI), in the last two cases, through interactive maps as well.
