BPD in the Community: District A-7 Helps Organize Trip to Germany for Massachusetts Based World War II Veterans

Honoring our heroes!

Officers from District A-7 in East Boston proudly organized a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Germany for our World War II veterans to commemorate their 80th anniversary of service and sacrifice to our Country.

To ensure these heroes received the send-off they truly deserve, District A-7, with the support of the Mass State Police, Massport Police, and Massport Fire, provided an official escort to the airport.

The day was filled with pride, gratitude, and heartfelt emotion as we saluted these veterans who stood tall for our country eight decades ago. Their legacy continues to inspire us all, and we were humbled to be part of this extraordinary moment.

From all of us at the Boston Police Department, we wish our veterans a safe and memorable journey. Your bravery, sacrifice, and service will never be forgotten.
